Bill Buchanan

Bill Buchanan is a Professor of Applied Cryptography at Edinburgh Napier University, recognized as one of the world's top 2% scientists in cybersecurity. He leads the Blockpass ID Lab and the Centre for Cybersystems and Cryptography, focusing on cryptography, blockchain, trust, and digital identity. Bill has published over 30 academic books and 400 research papers, and his work has led to four successful spin-out companies. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and was appointed OBE for services to cybersecurity.
