Blondel Silenou Demanou

BLONDEL Silenou Demanou is a recognized climate finance expert and policy analyst specializing in African climate adaptation and Green Climate Fund processes. He holds roles as country coordinator for Cameroon and regional node for the Civil Society Organizations Readiness for the Green Climate Fund project, and serves as a member of the African Climate Experts Group and a civil society observer to the Green Climate Fund. He currently works for ICLEI AFRICA on the BRIDGE project, helping sub-national actors access climate finance for locally-led adaptation. His online presence focuses on climate finance justice, community engagement, agroecology, biodiversity, gender equality in environmental policy, and advocacy for independent grievance mechanisms. He organizes webinars and speaks at international conferences, sharing expertise in climate funding, accountability, and grassroots mobilization.
