Hebah Abbas

Hebah Abbas is a distinguished leader in engineering, sustainability, and national development, with over 20 years of experience in transformative initiatives across Kuwait and the Arab region. She currently serves as Chief Specialist Engineer at the Kuwait Ministry of Education, leading infrastructure strategies that integrate innovation, sustainability, and resilience into the national education system. As Chairwoman of the Sustainability Committee and Technical Advisor to the Kuwait Water Association, she advocates for a nexus-based approach aligning water, infrastructure, and environmental systems through strategic collaboration. Her work focuses on scalable solutions for sustainable infrastructure, circular economy models, and smart utility systems. Internationally, she represents Kuwait at high-level global platforms, contributing to the Arab Digital Roadmap 2025–2030 and collaborating with organizations like AmCham Kuwait and the World Association of PPP Professionals.
