Omar Samra

Omar Samra is an Egyptian entrepreneur, adventurer, and motivational speaker known for his record-breaking achievements, including being the first Egyptian to summit Everest and complete the Explorer's Grand Slam. He founded Wild Guanabana, an adventure travel company promoting sustainable tourism. Samra is also an Astronaut Candidate with PoSSUM, having undergone space training and participated in moon-analogue missions. His survival story from a capsized Atlantic rowing expedition was turned into a documentary screened at major film festivals. Samra advocates for climate action, equality, and refugees, and serves as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
