Steven Truxal

Steven Truxal is a Professor of Air and Space Law and the Chair & Director of the International Institute of Air and Space Law (IIASL). He specializes in air law, competition regulation of air transport, and governance regimes for international aviation. With 19 years of experience in higher education, he frequently chairs panels at major aviation and legal conferences, delivers workshops for government officials and judges, and lectures globally. His previous roles include designing City, University of London’s first online degree program and serving as Visiting Professor of English Law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He has also worked at Lufthansa German Airlines and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
