Sungai Watch is a nonprofit organization based in Indonesia focused on stopping plastic pollution from reaching the ocean through river barriers and community cleanups. They design simple technologies to intercept waste, conduct weekly cleanups, and educate communities about river conservation. Their work is centered in Bali, where they mobilize volunteers and collaborate with local institutions to tackle river pollution and prevent flooding caused by clogged waterways.
Together, we can stop plastic before it reaches the ocean.
